My professional career of over 35 years has been devoted to the mental health and welfare of humankind.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), and a resident of Hawaii for over 25 years.

I am originally from New York. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, during 1975. 

Following graduation, I relocated to Aspen, Colorado and spent several years practicing hypnotherapy and traveling.

During my course of travels, and with experience living in the cultural diversity of New York, my interest in the influence of society on the individual deepened.

I left Colorado for Hawaii’s tropical shores, and was employed as a Social Worker for the State of Hawaii, Department of Human Services. I spent 14 years working in Child Welfare with Hawaii’s families.

I received a Master of Arts degree from Argosy University, in Marriage and Family Therapy while in Hawaii. I resumed private practice in 2006, in Makawao, Maui.
